Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how refund and cancellation requests are handled for event registrations made through the BibEvents platform.

1. General Policy

All event registrations on BibEvents are final once payment is completed. BibEvents acts as a technology platform for event registrations and does not unilaterally issue refunds. Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis by the event organizer.

2. Requesting a Refund

If you wish to request a refund for a paid registration, please follow these steps:

Step 1 — Email support@bibevents.com with your registered email address and your Order ID (visible in your registration confirmation email).

Step 2 — Describe the reason for your refund request clearly.

Step 3 — We will refer your request to the event organizer and respond within 5 business days.

Requests submitted without an Order ID or registered email address cannot be processed.

3. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved by the event organizer:

- The approved amount will be refunded to the original payment method used at the time of registration.

- Refunds typically reflect within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

- Any convenience fee or platform processing fee charged at the time of registration is non-refundable.

4. Event Cancelled by Organizer

If an event is officially cancelled by the organizer before the scheduled race date:

- BibEvents will notify all registered runners by email as soon as we are informed.

- The organizer is responsible for initiating full refunds within 7 business days of the cancellation announcement.

- BibEvents will assist in processing any pending refunds where possible.

BibEvents is not responsible for event cancellations or changes made by organizers, and our liability is limited to the amount paid for registration on our platform.

5. Event Postponement or Route Changes

If an event is postponed or its details (route, venue, date) are changed by the organizer, refunds are at the organizer's discretion. BibEvents will communicate such changes to registered runners when notified by the organizer.

6. No-Show Policy

Runners who do not attend a registered event (no-show) are not entitled to a refund unless the specific event's terms explicitly provide for it. Please review the individual event's registration terms before signing up.

7. Duplicate Registrations

If a technical error on our platform results in a duplicate charge for the same registration, please contact support@bibevents.com immediately with your Order ID. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded in full within 5 business days.
